Lavender
Household CleanerFill a jar about one-quarter full of
blue/grey lavender buds and then fill the rest of the jar with
white vinegar. Place the lid on the jar and leave in a warm spot (a
windowsill is a good place) for about two weeks. Shake daily. Strain
out the lavender buds (you can put these in the compost pile). Use
your new cleaner to clean kitchen counters (repels and also kills
ants), windows, etc. It is also good to spray into the air around
the grill to repel flies, but take be careful not to get downwind of
it because it may sting your eyes because of the vinegar. |
